Samsung and LG Smart TV
Samsung and LG TVs don’t ship with an IPTV player, but their app stores have several. Most are set up from the app’s website, using the MAC address the app shows you.
Recommended apps
IBO Player
Activated with the MAC and key the app shows; after the trial, activation is paid.
SS IPTV
Free; the playlist is uploaded on its website with a code the app gives you.
Smart IPTV
One-off paid activation after the trial; uses the M3U link.
These are third-party apps, not affiliated with Sofazo. Their names, features and prices may change, and some are paid.
Step by step
First of all: If the app shows a MAC address and device key, write them down: you’ll use them on its website to add your playlist instead of typing with the remote.
With Xtream Codes (recommended)
- Open the TV’s store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store), search for the player and install it.
- Open “My order” on sofazo.com, find your order and press “Show” to see your server, username, password and M3U link.
- In the app, choose “Login with Xtream Codes API” (or “Add user” → “Xtream Codes”).
- Fill in the fields: name (anything you like, e.g. “Sofazo”), username, password and server URL, exactly as shown in “My order”.
- Press “Add” or “Login” and wait for the channels and guide to load. The first time it can take a couple of minutes.
With an M3U link
- Install the player and, if asked, go to its website with the MAC and key the app shows.
- Open “My order” on sofazo.com, find your order and press “Show” to see your server, username, password and M3U link.
- In the app, choose “M3U URL” (or “Add playlist” → “From URL”).
- Paste the full M3U link and give the playlist a name.
- Save and wait for the channels to load.
Common problems
Nothing loads or login fails
It is almost always a copy error: an extra space, a capital letter or an incomplete server URL. Copy them again from “My order” and check the URL includes “http://” and the port if it has one.
The picture stutters or freezes
Use an ethernet cable if you can, close other downloads and restart the app and the router. You need a steady 15–20 Mbps per screen.
It worked and now it doesn’t
Check your plan’s expiry date in “My order”. If it has expired, you can renew it from the plans page.
It works on another network but not on yours
Some internet providers block certain servers. Email us at info@sofazo.com with your provider’s name and we’ll help.
The app asks for activation
That comes from the app, not Sofazo: some charge an activation fee after the trial. You can try another one from the list.
